Easy Plants for Lazy People
Since we only sell plants that are easy to grow (and therefore require less work) we actually don’t have the usual plethora of varieties that other growers do. Though by no means definitive, here are some of the species that you can usually find on our tables.
Mugshots!

Tillandsia
We try to mist these three times per week. Don’t plant them, they’re called air plants for a reason.

Anthurium
Try to give this one a lot of light but too much sun will burn it. DONT LET IT SIT IN WATER make sure it drains.

Sansevieria
Water just once per week, will grow in very, very dark places. Usually used in bathrooms.

Bamboo
Yup – it grows indoors! Ours do anyway, as long as you put it in a bright place and make sure it doesn’t dry out.

Taro
Ours are a variety specifically designed for indoor pots. Put it in a bright spot and keep it well watered.

Wax Ficus
Needs a window. Otherwise follow the watering instructions above.

Grape Ivy
Very easy to grow. Follow the general care instructions.

Pepperomia
Keep it moist. Famous for use in terrariums. Does well in darker areas.

Potpourri
An assemblage of various species. All are ok with low light and regular watering.

Dracena
Commonly known as, “Lucky Bamboo” it is related to the common Ti leaf. Ours are planted. Keep moist, medium light ok.

Jade
Needs to be in a window. A bright window. Despite being a succulent water as a normal tropical.

Malabar Chestnut
This is it! Our most popular plant and for good reason! Water it all you like – it’s an aquatic. Neglect if for a month – it’s drought tolerant. It adapts to very low light and is our absolute best indoor plant for home or office.
I like gardening – it’s a place where i find myself when i need to lose myself.
